This post is a bit late, since it's been complete for around a month now - however, my first book is now complete! At the moment I'm looking for either an agent or a publisher, although I admit that some of my initial efforts in that direction have been rather tame.
The Magic Light Switch
The book is called The Magic Light Switch and is a "coming of age" children's novel about a boy who is being forced to move out of his well-loved home. Along-the-way, he discovers a magical light switch which takes him back in time to war-time London in 1941, and to Emily, a young girl who is dying of an unknown illness. This is the story of how the friendship develops, and how the magic light switch helps them overcome their mutual problems.
